We offer flat fee services for our sought-after legal work. We also offer subscription services for clients who want to engage in a long-term relationship with our team at a reduced rate. Payments are non-refundable and subscription services cannot be combined. If you want to work with our office outside of our flat fee services and subscription services, our hourly rate is $500/hr (USA law issues only). Legal matters in foreign jurisdictions (in addition to USA legal issues) are subject to higher hourly rates. We look forward to being that attorney for your specific legal needs or the outside General Counsel (or Chief Legal Officer) for your business.

Exclusive Services
Our flat-fee legal services are the perfect solution for your business needs. With our expert support, you can confidently start and scale your brand without any legal worries. And if you need any additional services, we're here to help at our hourly rate. Unless otherwise indicated, our flat fees include one (1) hour of correspondence. All other communications will be billed at our hourly rate unless you have enrolled in one of our Subscription Models. Then the terms of that Subscription Model will apply.

Trademark Legal Services
Our Trademark Legal Services only cover the items specifically listed in the package you select. All of our packages include a strategy call, a follow-up call, and updates as we receive them from the United States Patent & Trademark Office ("USPTO). All additional calls, correspondence, and legal work are billed at our hourly rate.

Business Formation, Strategy & Compliance Services
Unless otherwise noted, our Business Formation Services only include a consultation call, the filing process, and document delivery outlined in your paid option. If you need additional edits to any documents, phone calls to the Department of State or IRS, or any additional services, it will be billed at our hourly rate unless you are enrolled in one of our Subscription Plans. If you are enrolled in a subscription plan, those rates shall apply.

Copyright Legal Services
Our Copyright Legal Services only cover the items specifically listed in the package you select. All of our packages include a strategy call, a follow-up call, and updates as we receive them from the United States Copyright Office ("UCO). All additional calls, correspondence, and legal work are billed at our hourly rate.

Contract Drafting, Review, & Negotiation Services
Our Contract Legal Services include drafting, reviewing, or negotiating points for one legal document. Our services include legal consultation, document handling, and a 30-minute review with our client (or opposing legal counsel). All additional calls, correspondence, and legal work are billed at our hourly rate.

Intellectual Property & Business Strategy
Our Intellectual Property and Business Strategy services consist of offering a legal analysis strategy and resolution assessment of legal concerns. Our services include legal consultation, document handling, and a 30-minute review with our client (or opposing legal counsel). All additional calls, correspondence, and legal work are billed at our hourly rate.

Our Media & Entertainment services include negotiating and protecting their intellectual property rights, licensing and distributing content, merchandising, negotiating royalties, and resolving disputes. Whether we are guiding new artists through the formation of their first business entity, consulting independent filmmakers on the production of their newest project, or handling complex business disputes on behalf of clients nationwide, we ensure that our clients know their legal needs are in great hands.

Our International Business Transactions & Strategy services are primarily offered through our Digital General Counsel® legal subscription service. Our services include intellectual property filing, strategies, and management. Our services also include international business strategy consultations, international business transactions oversight, working with international legal teams, participating in meetings at overseas locations, and offering international business expansion insight.

We offer three (3) different tiers of subscription services for clients who want to engage in a long-term relationship with our team for a reduced rate. We also offer custom subscription plans for multi-national enterprises who want to add an experienced educated international General Counsel to their teams.

For our ELEVATE subscription service, we offer one (1) hour of email access per month and two (2) consultation calls [up to 15 mins each] per month. This subscription service is just for ad-hoc questions and does not include any substantial legal work which will be billed on our flat-fee or hourly basis. We will also include our Brillionaire Health Check annually to ensure your compliance with regulatory legal requirements.

Are International Legal Matters Included?
The Founder of Digital General Counsel® services, Michelle J. Miller, has an advanced law degree in International Business Law and decades of experience in global business, speaking, ministry, and education endeavors. Her international experience has taken her to China, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Haiti, Tanzania, Dubai, and other foreign jurisdictions. So, yes international matters are included but only if you select our Elite package or a custom package at a higher flat fee.
What Is Your Hourly Fee?
Our legal subscription services are offered on a flat fee basis to give you the peace of knowing your investment. For this reason, selecting the best package for your business is best because work performed outside of the level package you select is billed at our standard legal rate. Overall, a legal subscription service is the best option for ongoing legal support due to the investment predictability and the significant cost savings.
Do The Legal Subscription Renew Automatically?
We honor the relationship that we are building with our clients so we allocated the time we will dedicated to your matters in advance. For this reason, we need 30-days notice if you would like to cancel your subscription.
All Attorney Calls Included In My Subscription?
Absolutely! Our Elevate Package is designed for entrepreneurs who have the budget to obtain a legal subscription for 1 hour of legal communications each month. Our other packages, includes strategy calls, consultation calls, and email communications.
What Is Your Refund Policy?
We do not have a refund policy because we cannot take back the time, talent, knowledge, and expertise provided to clients. However, our cancellation policy allows the cancellation of your plan with 30-days notice to our office.
Are Filing Fees Included In The Packages?
The Elevate Package does not include legal services, but clients who select this level will receive reduced rates. Our Excel and Elite Packages include the federal fee for 1 trademark class, 1 copyright registration, and up to $150 for a state business filing fee. Please Note: Selecting a project such as a federal trademark application filing will reduce attorney hours for other legal work.
Will Your Represent Me In A Lawsuit?
The Founder of our Digitial General Counsel® services has extensive legal experience. She has worked with different corporate legal teams and managed outside legal counsel while working at a Fortune 500 multinational corporation. However, our packages do not include litigation. Plus, litigation requires a significant investment. Our role is to guide our clients through the process, listen to concerns, and help them understand strategic options before they move forward. While we will not represent you in court, we are your legal supportor throughout the process.
